Making a psychology practice look as expert as it is

The situation

MindNLife is a psychology practice in Hong Kong and the UK, led by Dr Q Zaidi, doing evidence-based clinical work with a focus on compassion and family mental health. The expertise was not in question. The social media presence just did not reflect any of it: occasional posts, no consistent look, and nothing that would tell a prospective client this was a serious practice.

What I did

Moved them from posting when someone remembered to a content engine with a reason behind each post.

The core of it was educational carousels, small pieces of genuinely useful mental health guidance rather than promotion. Things like "5 tips to protect your wellbeing", designed to be worth someone's time whether or not they ever became a client.

Alongside that, a calm, clean visual treatment applied consistently across both platforms, because in healthcare the look of a thing is part of whether people trust it. Instagram and LinkedIn were treated differently rather than cross-posted, since the audiences want different things from each.

What happened

On Instagram, followers grew 62%, from 450 to 730, on steady output rising from 455 posts to 493. The following count rose 15% too, which matters more than it sounds: it means real participation in the mental health community rather than broadcasting into it.

On LinkedIn a single post reached 11,297 impressions with 7,573 clicks. The platform reported an engagement rate of 67.77% on that post, which is far above any normal benchmark and worth treating as a very good post on a very well-matched audience rather than a repeatable average.
